August 27 – VENUE Plug-ins: The Advantages of Native Plug-in Architecture

Not all plug-in architectures are created equal — especially when compared to TDM, the industry’s most widely supported plug-in platform, featuring a vast array of plug-ins. Get an in-depth look at how TDM plug-ins make VENUE one of the most powerful and flexible live sound systems available today. We’ll discuss installing and managing plug-ins, and how easy it is to share plug-in settings, automation, and file preset data between Pro Tools and VENUE systems.

September 24 – PQ vs Aviom: Choosing the Right Personal Monitoring System

VENUE offers two personal monitoring options for the VENUE line; the Personal Q™ (PQ) system, which offers a PQ Rack and PQ Controllers for artist-driven monitoring, and A-Net® interface output cards for integrating Aviom® personal monitor mixing products with VENUE. Although both systems address a common need, conceptually, both designs are considerably different. We’ll discuss how D-Show® software manages the two systems, and the operational differences between them.
