EQ II and Dynamics II (Compressor, Expander, Gate, Limiter) plug-ins are missing when I open older sessions in Pro Tools 7.3 or higher. Pro Tools 7.3.x and 7.4.x install the EQ III and Dynamics III plug-ins, and installs/moves EQ II and Dynamics II to the following location: Mac OS X Systems: Library > Application Support > Digidesign > Plug-Ins (Unused) Windows XP Systems: Program Files > Common Files > Digidesign > DAE > Plug-Ins (Unused) If you have existing sessions that used EQ II and/or Dynamics II, you can move these to the Plug-Ins folder before launching Pro Tools 7.3.x or 7.4.x. From the DigiRack Legacy Plug-ins Guide: Pro Tools installs the following DigiRack legacy plug-ins in the Plug-ins (Unused) folder: EQ II Dynamics II These plug-ins should only be used when opening older Pro Tools sessions. You should use the most current versions of DigiRack plug-ins whenever possible.
