About Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2
Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2 software is for Pro Tools|HD and Pro Tools|HD Accel systems only.
Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2 is a free download for all Pro Tools|HD and Pro Tools|HD Accel owners with Pro Tools TDM 6.4 through 6.9.x software for HD systems.
Pro Tools HD 7 Upgrades for owners of Pro Tools|HD and Pro Tools|HD Accel systems that do not have Pro Tools TDM 6.4 or higher are available from the online DigiStore, or check with your local Digidesign Dealer.
What's New in Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2?
- Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2 adds support for Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" to the Pro Tools 6.9 feature set.
- Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2 software also includes firmware updates for ICON D-Control and D-Command worksurfaces.

Updating Information
Who Should Use This Update?
The Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2 update is recommended for ALL Pro Tools|HD and Pro Tools|HD Accel users with Pro Tools TDM 6.4, 6.6, 6.7, 6.9, or 6.9.1 software that wish to run Pro Tools on Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" Only.
The Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2 Update requires Pro Tools TDM 6.4, 6.6, 6.7, 6.9, or 6.9.1 software for Pro Tools|HD systems, which must already be installed on your computer.
Pro Tools 6.9.x Plug-In Updates
All Digidesign and Digi-distributed plug-ins for Pro Tools 6.7 and 6.9 on Mac OS 10.3 are compatible with Pro Tools 6.9.2 for Mac OS X 10.4-10.4.2 "Tiger". If you have already updated your plug-ins for Pro Tools 6.9, you do not need to download these again for Mac OS X 10.4.
In order to greatly reduce the size of the web downloads, these optional plug-ins are NOT INCLUDED with the Pro Tools 6.9.x downloads. While you may already have the latest version of some plug-ins, it is a good idea to check the website for updated versions for Pro Tools 6.
Legacy MIDI Controllers
The following control surfaces were not tested with Pro Tools 6.9.2, and therefore are not officially supported:
- JL Cooper CS-10 MIDI series
- JL Cooper MCS 3000 series MCS-Panner
- Peavy PC-1600
The Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2 installer does not install these by default. If you have a MIDI control surface that uses one of these control surface personality files, you will need to also download the Legacy MIDI Controllers for Pro Tools 6.9.2 for Mac OS X 10.4.
Custom MIDI Patch Name Documents
The Pro Tools TDM 6.9.2 Update will overwrite any .midnam documents in the following location: Macintosh HD-> Library-> Audio-> MIDI Patch Names-> Digidesign. If you have previously added any custom .midnam documents please make backup copies before updating Pro Tools.
SYNC I/O Firmware Version 1.1.1 Requirement
Pro Tools TDM 6.9.x requires that you update your SYNC I/O firmware to run Pro Tools. When Pro Tools is installed, new firmware for the SYNC I/O is automatically installed in the Pro Tools Utilities folder within the Digidesign folder. When you launch Pro Tools for the first time, you will be prompted to update your SYNC I/O firmware.

Your registered Pro Tools TDM version 6.4, 6.7, or 6.9 authorization code is required to download, install, and authorize these updates. This can be found in one of the following locations:
