Who Should Use Pro Tools LE 8.0.1cs1?



Pro Tools LE 8.0.1cs1 for Windows contains fixes in the following areas:
  • Editing/Conform

Pro Tools LE 8.0.1cs1 is provided as an interim "customer support (CS)" release to address the issues described. While our testing has not shown these changes to introduce other problems, the fixes described have not been fully qualified by Digidesign.


What's Included in Pro Tools LE 8.0.1cs1 for Windows?



Fixed: Exiting the Start/End/Length fields using "/" (the forward slash key from the numeric keypad) caused the entered value to be ignored (Item #118727)
  • Resolved an issue in which using the "/" key (forward slash key from the numeric keypad) to exit the Start/End/Length fields after entering a value would cause the entered value to be ignored. This broke the workflow with several 3rd party conform applications, including but not limited to maggot conformalizer software and Virtual Katy software.


Installation Instructions



To update to Pro Tools LE 8.0.1cs1:
1. Verify Pro Tools LE 8.0.1 is installed on your system.
2. Quit the Pro Tools application if it is open.
3. Locate the Pro Tools LE 8.0.1cs1 update installer and launch it.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to install Pro Tools LE 8.0.1cs1.
5. When installation is complete, restart your computer.
Pro Tools LE 8.0.1cs1 will update the following files to the Product version listed (right-click on a file and choose Properties > Details to view Product version):
  • ProToolsLE.exe (v8.0.1cs1)
  • DFW.dll (v8.0.1cs1)
  • FFmt.dll (v8.0.1cs1)
  • ProTools.dll (v8.0.1cs1)
