(July 10, 2006) — SRS Labs, Inc. is pleased to announce that Circle Surround TDM Pro 2.0 with Xtract is now available for PC and Macintosh Pro Tools users. SRS Circle Surround® TDM Pro 2.0 raises the bar for surround tools. This expanded plug-in offers mixers the ability to encode surround music or cinema content in a 5.1 composite Lt/Rt without leaving Pro Tools. The Circle Surround decoder provides monitoring of Circle Surround Cinema and Music decoding, as well as LCRS, stereo and mono playback.

In addition to the already popular encoding tool, content creators can now use the decoder for more than just monitoring. With the all new Xtract function, mono, stereo and legacy LCRS content can be given a new life in the world of surround. Xtract effortlessly creates a stunning surround environment for delivery or mixing in Circle Surround or discrete 5.1.

This upgrade is free for all registered users, but does require Pro Tools 7. Your current iLok authorization will work, and it does not require a new authorization. You may download the Circle Surround TDM 2.0 installers here:
