(July 10, 2006) — Video Symphony has moved.

After more than ten years on North Hollywood Way, Video Symphony Institute of Post Production has relocated to a larger, more adaptable facility on Magnolia Blvd., in the center of Burbank's Media District.

Mike Flanagan, Video Symphony's president, said that the ever-increasing demand for digital video and audio training propelled the decision to relocate.

"We've been upgrading Hollywood's editors, sound editors and artists for years," Flanagan said. "It became evident that we should upgrade our own circumstance as well. Now we have more systems, more classrooms, and more hands-on practice lab availability for our students."

The 10-month Pro Tools Career Program has been attracting more students who want to acquire Digidesign's Expert certifications and benefit from Video Symphony's exclusive courses for both music and post-production.

The Career Program consists of 27 courses (488 class hours, and at least 232 hours of hands-on practice), plus job placement assistance. Individual classes are also available. Courses are conducted by Digidesign- certified instructors, including several award-winning sound editors.

The new location is more convenient for students who rely on public transportation. Students will enjoy closer proximity to a wide collection of theaters, restaurants, shops and attractions.

"Downtown Burbank offers the perfect urban vibe for our students," Flanagan said. "And it's a dream location because so many studios and media-related companies are situated nearby. There are screenings and film festivals all around the area."
