algorithms, MD3 Multiband Dynamics and BrickWall Limiter. The MD3 Stereo Mastering Package for Pro Tools|HD is shipping now at EUR 1295 and GBP 950 retail ex. VAT.
MD3 features a multiband 48-bit internal resolution structure, and offers a 3-band compressor and expander, a 4-band parametric equalizer, and a limiter in one powerful algorithm. MD3 can be configured for stereo or dual mono processing, and used on single sources as well as composite stereo mixes. Alternatively, stereo material may be processed in the MS domain, or MD3 may take in MS signals and convert them to stereo with processing taking place in either the LR or MS domain.
BrickWall Limiter is a stereo/dual mono limiter with new features and technology designed to adapt to the audio signal, investigate if this signal is contaminated with 0dBFS+ peaks - and to remove them if so desired. This prevents sustained distorting in consumer equipment not designed to handle audio signals that are squashed against a full scale - 0 dBFS - peak level in DA converters and data reduction codec (MP3, AAC etc.).

DVR2 is presenting fine-tuned qualities of the original processor such as sweet modulation, spectral balance, spaciousness and saturation. The Vintage Reset function produces a sound very close to a well preserved EMT250, which is still a favorite on lead vocal in studios fortunate enough to own one.
Its hi-res parameter allow for lowering noise, extension of bandwidth, exaggerating or backing off the amount of chorusing. It also emulates its predecessor in the way parameters interact for different settings. The DVR2 comes with customizable presets and focus fields for tweaking and navigation.
