(July 11, 2007) – KIWA is proud to announce the imminent release of VoiceQ ADR and VoiceQ DUB 1.6. Series scheduled for July 23rd, 2007. This new major upgrade features many new enhancements to the user interface with significantly improved performance. VoiceQ is now using Apples Core Video and OpenGL technology for rendering, which has reduced CPU usage by over 50% resulting in superior performance across the board and compatibility with older machines. 

VoiceQ has kicked it up a notch with:
- New transport controls with larger buttons
- Additional conventional quick keys
- Larger time-code display
- Faster time-code entry
- Smoother text scrolling method
- New color settings to provide clearer display on a wide range of monitors
- Audio mixer ruler display for mixers
- New document icon design making it easier to distinguish VoiceQ projects from other documents
- Enhanced zooming function to stay centred on the currently selected line or the play-head.
- All International frame rates, with the addition of 23.976, 29.97 and 29.97d.
 
We're especially excited to introduce Quick Spotting (aka Qspot) that significantly reduces time and effort in spotting and synchronizing text to video. This compelling feature dramatically reduces the preparation time of VoiceQ Projects. A configurable Audio Mixer Ruler has also been added to enhance spotting functionality.
