Jan-Al Adds Two New Rack Systems to Product Line

(September 18, 2006) — Jan-Al Cases is manufacturing elegant new racks made of materials that fit into the studio environment and on the road. Jan-Al is introducing the new rackmounting options for Pro Tools users:
- The new MAC insert, the G5-4SRI, which fits into a standard rack, hold a G5 or Mac Pro without screws, drilling or otherwise violating the warranty or the chassis. It also holds four vertical rack spaces and a cubbyhole for hard drives;
- The MAC insert grips the computer on a slide-out tray with a positive lock that is easily engaged during travel;
- Jan-Al is also shockmounting G5s and Mac Pros horizontally into standard racks.
The MR Rack (MR6 shown) is a shockmounted rack (6-18 spaces available) and holds a 15”- 20” monitor mounted into the lid and features:
- Work surface for control surfaces, keyboards and mice;
- Rear access door wiring & cable pass-through;
- Options include Hubble connectors & AC strip, lid-mounted table legs, ratchet mounts and additional screens.
