A collection of gated grooves and rhythmic pulsations

(September 18, 2006) — SoundToys Inc. (formerly Wave Mechanics), a leading developer of high-end digital signal processing (DSP) tools, today announced the availability of the third in their Preset Expander Series: Pulsator. Available for free for all registered owners of SoundToys Effects bundles or the individual Tremolator plug-in. More info available at http://www.soundtoys.com

Pulsator is available for free download and contains more than 50 new rhythms and countless new chopping gates and pulsing beat patches for Tremolator. Ideal for remix, dance production, and any audio that needs more motion. For use on beat loops, guitars, synths, voice, and everything in between. Turns any audio into a rhythm track. These patches make extensive use of Tremolator’s programmable rhythms and analog mode to create chopped rhythms with punch and warm pumping trance pulses. Tremolator’s adjustable Groove allows users to add swing or shuffle to lock rhythms to the feel while the MIDI switch locks to the tempo of the song. User selectable waveforms create smooth pulses to harsh chopped gates to simulated rev gates and more for any of the included rhythms.

Also loads each new rhythm to the SoundToys rhythm library and makes them available to FilterFeak, PhaseMistress, and EchoBoy.

Pulsator promises to continue the tradition of the Preset Expander Series and push the limits of SoundToys plugs to give SoundToys customers more creative options without more investment.
