Toontrack Supports RTAS with Award-Winning Drum Sampler dfh EZdrummer

(September 18, 2006) — As of August the 16th dfh EZdrummer version 1.0.2 supports RTAS for Pro Tools 7 and above for Pro Tools M-Powered, Pro Tools LE, and Pro Tools|HD systems on PC and Mac. EZdrummer 1.0.2 is available as a free download for all registered and registering users.

dfh EZdrummer is a multi-microphone drum sampler designed for musicians and producers in need of a compact, affordable, easy to handle plug-in without compromising sound quality or control. The visualized drums in the interface combines auditioning of sounds and drumkit construction. The extensive drag and drop MIDI-library (featuring 8000+ MIDI files) enables users to create a great drumtrack in just a few clicks. For more advanced handling, users can control microphone bleeding and levels between drums using the internal mixer. The mixer also allows stereo and multitrack routing into the host through one single plug-in. Toontrack Releases Superior Drummer 1.5.6 with RTAS Compatibility
Toontrack Music has released Superior Drummer 1.5.6 for dfh-Superior, Superior Custom and Vintage, and Superior Vintage add-on.

The first RTAS version available of the Superior Drummer samplers for dfh-Superior, Superior Custom and Vintage and Superior Vintage add-on is compatible with RTAS for Pro Tools 7 and above for Pro Tools M-Powered, Pro Tools LE, and Pro Tools|HD systems on PC and Mac.

In addition the release features the following bug fixes and improvements:

- graphic meltdown affecting Logic/DP-fronted TDM/DAE systems
- improved multiple instances support on multiple CPUs
- various transmute related bugs fixed
- setting Fade mode back to Note On once Aftertouch or NoteOff had been selected was ignored

This update is recommended in particular for users who had experienced graphic issues with the previous release, and, of course, Pro Tools users with compatible systems.
