Musical Performances — Main Stage (booth #6606/6700)

Thursday, 1:0pm — Los Lobos
Los Lobos are one of the most distinctive and original American bands in recent history. Though they are most widely known for their 1987 cover of “La Bamba,” Los Lobos have continually impressed fans and critics alike with their dynamic blend of blues, rockabilly, jazz and Latin-influenced music. With a history that spans more than 30 years and 15 full-length albums, the band continues to garner critical acclaim and release new material, including their latest album for Hollywood Records, The Town and the City. The band operates its own Pro Tools® studio and tours with a VENUE console — the same gear used on the Main Stage.

Friday, 1:00pm — Jason Scheff (Chicago) and Special Guests
Jason Scheff has enjoyed a storied career in the music industry as a member of Chicago and through his various solo projects. Lending his vocal talents to such Chicago tracks as “Will You Still Love Me,” Scheff is a consummate musician who is known throughout the industry for his skills as a singer, bassist, and composer. Scheff will be joined onstage by Keith Howland (guitarist/singer; Chicago) and Loren Gold (keyboardist/musical director; Hilary Duff). The trio will be using a collection of M-Audio® hardware, including Black Box, ProKeys 88, and FireWire 410.

Saturday, 1:00pm — Lisa Loeb
Known for her effervescent personality and provocative music, singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb has made a name for herself not only through her chart-topping music, but also through her various television and film roles. Her platinum-selling song “Stay” earned her both a Grammy nomination and a “Best New Artist” Brit Award, and resulted in a record deal with Geffen Records. Making good on her successful debut single, Loeb followed with acclaimed CDs and TV appearances, including The Chris Isaak Show, The Drew Carey Show, and a feature film role opposite Oscar-winning actor Geoffrey Rush in House on Haunted Hill. The longtime Pro Tools user will be playing guitar while the sound is mixed on the Digidesign VENUE console.

Sunday, 1:00pm — Vikter Duplaix
Grammy-nominated recording artist/producer Vikter Duplaix has released numerous solo records and has contributed to albums from Erykah Badu, Jazzanova, King Britt’s Sylk 130, Jamiroquai, Me’Shell Ndegeocello, and many more. His production work continues to defy classification with a diverse list of credits, including Earth, Wind, and Fire, Jazzanova, Norman Brown, and others. Duplaix will be joined onstage by Kenneth Crouch (keyboardist/musical director; Lenny Kravitz, Eric Clapton) and Satnam Ramgotra (multi-percussionist; Beck, Sting, Seal) to demonstrate the power of M-Audio’s Torq Xponent, Torq Conectiv, Pro Tools M-Powered™, Trigger Finger, and more.
