New VENUE products offer more options for personal monitoring and new features
The Digidesign VENUE momentum continues with the introduction of an exciting new product and a software upgrade. The Digidesign® ANO A-Net Output Card is an option for the VENUE Stage Rack that enables you to connect popular Aviom Pro16 Series personal mixers and devices directly to a VENUE system, providing a simple and cost-effective artist-driven monitoring solution. It tightly integrates with D-Show® 2.6 software, and offers unique features such as Auto Link, which automatically links channel pairs across all Aviom personal mixers when you patch a stereo source in the D-Show software Patchbay — no fussing with screwdrivers or tiny DIP switches. It’s also the only card of its kind to feature signal present LEDs for every channel, making signal routing verification easy.
In addition to adding support for the ANO A-Net Output Card, the D-Show® 2.6 software upgrade offers new features, improved workflows, expanded signal routing possibilities, and many enhancements for all VENUE users. The unique system information export feature dramatically simplifies the system configuration and specification process for engineers, contractors, and audio hire companies. And the software continues to provide forward and backward compatibility, meaning you can load a D-Show 2.6 show file on any VENUE system running D-Show 2.0 or later software — no need to rebuild entire shows.
