Our Pro Tools systems uniquely integrate with Avid’s video editing and storage products, allowing you to work directly with Avid standard-definition (SD) and high-definition (HD) video resolutions. Pro Tools can open any QuickTime movie and play it back on your desktop or through an Avid® peripheral. You can also sync to external devices using LTC, VITC, SD and HD video reference, Word Clock, and 9-pin. Video Satellite Bring high-definition video into your audio production workflow. Video Satellite is a software option that allows Pro Tools|HD® editors to quickly and easily play Avid® HD or SD video sequences from a dedicated Windows-based computer, running Avid Media Composer® software, in sync with their Pro Tools® session. Video Satellite LE Get a simple, reliable, and affordable video playback solution that preserves the full power of your Pro Tools|HD® system when editing sound for picture. Video Satellite LE is a software option that allows Pro Tools|HD editors to easily play QuickTime HD/SD video or Avid® SD video from a separate but synced Mbox® 2 Micro system. With Video Satellite LE installed on the Pro Tools LE®-based computer, you control video playback in sync with your session on Pro Tools|HD while preserving your system’s full audio track count and processing power. Satellite Link Control multiple Pro Tools|HD® systems from one. Satellite Link is a powerful software option that allows you to synchronize, scrub, loop and control up to five Pro Tools|HD systems as one, with near sample-accurate lock, from a single transport — all without having to purchase additional hardware*.
