Why am I getting the message "disk 1 is not the right disk" or "disk 1 can't be read" when installing Sound Designer II 2.8?

If you experience these errors during installation of Sound Designer II 2.8, you can install it manually.
    1) Drag "Sound Designer II" and the "SDII Sample Rates" folder from the floppy onto your hard drive (into the Applications folder if desired)
    2) Drag the "DigiSystem INIT" into the System Folder's "Extensions Folder"
    3) Restart the Mac
    4) Launch Sound Designer and insert Disk 1 when promted for authorization
