| Could not complete your request because Integer error occurred (divide by zero) at address: 0x620A9C77 in module: DAE.dll |
This error is caused by a Windows Registry modification that prevents 8.0cs3 from launching with a Digi 002/003. It should only occur on systems where a first-time install of 8.0 was never launched before updating to cs3.
The script below will modify the Registry and allow cs3 to launch.
1) Click Download (below) to get the Div0.zip file
2) Double-click Div0.zip to expand the archive
3) Double-click Div0.reg to run the script

| Windows Vista SP2 — Not Tested — No Known Issues |
Service Pack 2 for Windows (released May 26, 2009) has not been tested with Pro Tools systems. There are currently no known issues with Vista SP2 compared to Vista SP1 with Pro Tools for Vista. However, users should be aware of the following:
- Although there are currently no known issues, Windows Vista SP2 is not yet officially qualified for use with Pro Tools systems. Should you choose to update to Vista SP2, be advised that is an unsupported configuration at this time.
- If you choose to update to Windows Vista SP2, it is strongly recommended that you backup your system and create a restore point before updating to SP2, should you encounter any problems after installing the update.
Compatibility Alert — Internet Explorer 8
Note: This is a separate issue that is unrelated to Vista SP2, and users on Vista SP2 do not have to install IE8.
Digidesign is currently investigating reports of Pro Tools not launching for some users after installation of Internet Explorer 8 on either Windows XP or Windows Vista. At this time it is recommended that customers avoid installing IE8 until we complete our investigation. For more information, including how to uninstall Internet Explorer 8 and revert to IE7, see the following page:

Bomb Factory and Moogerfooger plug-ins are not authorizing properly after ...
|
| Bomb Factory and Moogerfooger plug-ins are not authorizing properly after upgrading to Pro Tools 8. |
There are several scenarios that could cause this to occur. Please see below for each scenario and solution.
Problem: Current owners of 7.x 002/003/Mbox 2 Factory or Producer Factory Pro Bundles upgrade their Pro Tools systems (via the Factory Bundle installer on the PT 8.0 DVD and/or PT installer which automatically updates all plug-ins on their system to 8.0) and find out that their Moogerfooger Analog Delay and Moogerfooger Ring Modulator plug-ins will no longer authorize.
Solution - Trash the currently installed 8.0 versions of those plug-ins, then download and install the 7.4.x version of the Moogerfooger bundle from our plug-ins page, click here.
We will have a permanent solution in early January.
Problem: Current owners of 7.x BF Classic Compressors Bundle and/or 7.x Fairchild Bundle and/or 7.x version of BF-3A whose iLok authorizations have updated them to the v4 bundle version must use the existing 8.0 Classic Compressors Bundle which may install items that they do not own (i.e. someone who owns the 7.x Fairchild Bundle and runs the 8.0 CC installer will have 3 plug-ins installed they they do not own).
Solution - remove the additional installed plug-ins from your plug-ins folder. '
We will post individual installers for those bundles some time in early January.
Problem: Current owners of single authorizations for a Bomb Factory plug-in that are not ones that are eligible for the free update to v4 bundle versions (only the BF-2A, Fairchild 660, Moogerfooger Lowpass Filter, Pultec EQP-1A and Voce Spin will update to the v4 version and authorize all the other plug-ins that normally came with the bundle). The problem here is that these bundles were always ONLY sold as a bundle, so single authorizations that were acquired outside of normal sales channels do not qualify for free updates.
Solution - Download and install the 7.4.x version of the bundle installer that contains the plug-in you have authorization for, then remove the plug-ins that the bundle installs for which you do not have authorization.
Problem: You've gone through the above, but are still having problems with authorization.
Solution : Please check that the Company column for the authorization shows 'Digidesign' - if it does not, you will need to contact Customer Service by phone for assistance with getting an updated authorization.
