Media Station 2.7 won't launch. I get the error, "Device driver TPDK not installed, re-install or reboot".
In order to resolve this we recommend that you perform any available Windows XP updates. It might be necessary to update the PACE anti-piracy drivers as well.

To update the Pace drivers:
http://www.paceap.com/

To update Windows click on the Start menu to "All Applications" and the "Windows Update" link should be in the upper left corner of the window. Similarly, one can go directly to Microsoft website at:

Video Satellite Doesn't Support Loop Playback when Selection is Less than One Second.
This is a known issue with Pro Tools HD 7.4. (Windows XP) & 7.4.2. Currently, this is design limitation.

In Pro Tools if you attempt to loop play less than 1 second it will loop about 3 times and then Pro Tools and Media Station will stop.

If the loop is initiated in Media Station then usually after the first loop Media Station gives a "Pro Tools cannot currently play" error.

Work-around is to loop longer than 1 second.

Taken from the "Read Me" for Pro Tools HD 7.4.2 (Mac OS X 10.5.3). [Page View]

The application icon bounces in the dock but Media Station|PT 2.7 doesn’t launch (Mac OS X).
This will occur if the system volume name contains a “/”. Remove the “/” from the system volume name and Media Station|PT 2.7 will launch properly.

Media Station|PT 2.7 posts, "Synchronization Error. Aborting Play." when issuing play from Pro Tools with Video Satellite linked.
This can occur if Media Station|PT 2.7 has a complex sequence loaded if a quick play/stop command was issued from Pro Tools. If the stop was issued before Media Station could actually start playing, the Synchronization Error will be posted on the next playback attempt. Simply dismiss the dialog in Media Station and continue.

Exception, PMS_RESTART_OUT_OF_RANGE error when looping playback with Video Satellite and Media Station|PT 2.7.
This can occur when looping playback if the last frame of the selection is equal to the last frame of the sequence in Media Station|PT 2.7.

The workaround is to make the selection shorter by at least one frame, or lengthen the sequence.

PMS_NOT_READY_TO_START error or a blue screen crash during launch when using Video Satellite if the satellite system contains Pro Tools HD cards.
It is not officially supported to have Pro Tools HD cards installed in a Media Station|PT 2.7 system when Video Satellite mode is enabled. Users may experience blue screen crashes at launch or when enabling satellite mode. Or, you may get the PMS_NOT_READY_TO_START error during playback.

The workaround is to quit Media Station and either remove the Pro Tools HD cards from the system, or disable the drivers for each card in the Device Manager.
