After updating to the latest Bomb Factory plug-ins (from a previous install of 3.70 or earlier) the old versions of many plug-ins are not removed, causing the plug-ins to show up twice. This is a known issue. The problem is due to the fact that Bomb Factory originally used Trademark symbols in the names of the plug-ins, which were removed once Digidesign took over ownership of the plug-ins. This bug was discovered with the Bomb Factory Plug-Ins 3.7 on OS X and Windows XP with Pro Tools 6.2.2 and 6.2 TDM HD, but has been reproduced as far back as Pro Tools 5.3.1 TDM HD with BombFactory Plug-Ins version 3.0.1 An update to address this issue will be forthcoming. To Reproduce: 1. Create 2 mono track 2. Import some known audio into track 1 (kick drum track ,etc) 3. Insert a LA2A, 1176, Fairchild, etc 4. Adjust settings so it is obvious that the plug in is working (via heavy compression, output, etc) 5. Bypass the plug in 6. Change the output of the 2nd track OR Move the mixer position of the track 7. Press Play RESULT: Track 1's plug in is now working, even though the Bypass button is still lit. Pro Tools 5.3 for HD may display duplicate plug-in names or select the wrong plug-in when selecting an insert.  This will be visible in the plug-in popup menu where certain plug-ins might have duplicate entries. In other words, you might click on a duplicated Bomb Factory plug-in but instead instantiate a DigiRack plug-in. this should be fixed in an upcoming CS release please check the Late Breaking Technical Info and Download section for the update when it becomes available. Digi 001 Factory and iLok USB key December 4, 2001 When installing the Digidesign 001 Factory plug-ins on a Mac, the iLok extensions are installed by the Bomb Factory plug-in installers for the included 1176 and LA-2A Classic Compressors and the Moogerfooger Lowpass Filter, but not by the other plug-in installers. Run the Bomb Factory plug-in installer to install the iLok components on your Mac, or download the most current InterLok (iLok) extensions from the Pace Driver Download page: http://www.paceap.com/dldrvr.html - InterLok Drivers - for Windows - InterLok Extensions - for Mac Run the installer application and reboot.
