SoundToys Announces Upcoming Universal Binary Support and Brings Back MassivePack 5 Upgrade

Company opens up public beta, reinstates upgrade

(October 17, 2006) — SoundToys Inc., a leading developer of high-end audio effects plug-ins, announced that Universal Binary versions of its plug-ins are in development, and will soon be available for Pro Tools TDM and Pro Tools LE running on the new Intel-based Macintosh computers. Also the SoundToys Massive Pack 5 upgrades have been reinstated with the extension of the MassivePack 5 program.

SoundToys is pleased to announce that beta versions of EchoBoy, FilterFreak, Tremolator, Crystallizer and PhaseMistress are now available in Universal Binary format as part of an accelerated public beta program for the new platform. Users wishing to test the new plug-ins can download them from the SoundToys website, at www.soundtoys.com/download, beginning October 10th.

Other SoundToys plug-ins including SoundBlender, PitchDoctor, PurePitch, and Speed will be added to the public beta as soon as possible.

Massive Pack 5 Upgrades Re-Released
SoundToys Massive Pack 5 Upgrade offer has been reinstated. This limited time special offer allows owners of Digidesign’s new Massive Pack 5 to upgrade to the full SoundToys TDM Effects for just $695. This upgrade is available immediately and until the end of the Massive Pack 5 promotion from Digidesign.

The SoundToys MassivePack 5 Upgrade is currently available from SoundToys and its extensive network of distributors for $695.00. This upgrade currently supports Digidesign’s TDM, RTAS, and AudioSuite plug-in formats and supports Pro-Tools|HD and Pro Tools|HD Accel. This package is available for Mac OS X only.
