FXpansion BFD Lite Update for Ignition Pack 2 Owners

About This Update

• FXpansion BFD Lite version 1.5.48.5 adds compatibility with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and Pro Tools 7.4.2 for Leopard
  
• Version 1.5.48.5 is backwards compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
  
• Universal Binary; compatible with Pro Tools 7.0-7.4.2 for PowerPC- and Intel-based Mac systems
  

Known Issues

• The BFD Lite installer states that the version being installed is 1.5.48.6. The actual version that installs is 1.5.48.5 and is the proper version.
  

• In addition to running the BFD Lite Plugin Mac Setup, Mac OS X users also need to run the BFD Lite Data Setup to install the drum samples. Refer to the Installation Guide in the BFD Lite folder (on your Ignition Pack 2 DVD) for more information.
  

• BFD Lite is a single-instance version of the full BFD product. It is not designed to be used with the full version. If you have BFD Full installed, remove BFD Lite.
  

• During playback, BFD Lite may generate CPU errors (–9128 or –6031) when toggling between user-created BFD Lite presets that contain multiple groove assignments. The best workaround is to change presets while the Transport is at rest.
  

• You may need to increase the Playback Buffer Size to achieve acceptable playback performance. If –9128 errors occur during playback, try increasing the H/W Buffer Size in the Playback Engine submenu, accessible from the Pro Tools Setup menu.
