Where can I find out about plug-ins for my Pro Tools system?

What plug-in formats are compatible with Pro Tools?
Pro Tools plug-ins are available in three formats:
- TDM — for Pro Tools|HD systems and VENUE
- Real-Time AudioSuite™ (RTAS®) — for Pro Tools|HD, Pro Tools LE™, and Pro Tools M-Powered™ systems
- AudioSuite — for Pro Tools|HD, Pro Tools LE™, and Pro Tools M-Powered™ systems

Can I use VST plug-ins and VST instruments in Pro Tools?
The use of VST plug-ins and VST Instruments requires the optional purchase of the FXpansion VST to RTAS Adapter. The adapter enables VST effects plug-ins and VST Instruments to be used as RTAS plug-ins in Pro Tools sessions. Optimized for Pro Tools 7, version 2 is now available:
Please Note: Digidesign does not manufacture, test, or qualify any VST plug-ins, or the FXpansion VST to RTAS Adapter required to use VST plug-ins with Pro Tools. What plug-ins are included with my Pro Tools system?
- To find out what plug-ins are included with your Pro Tools system purchase*, see the Products Section of the website.
- Choose your Pro Tools system, then click on the "Bundled Plug-Ins" tab.
*While the DigiRack plug-ins are included with all Pro Tools software upgrades, promotional bundles such as the Ignition Pack software are included with the purchase of new Pro Tools HD and LE hardware systems only. The Ignition Pack bundle is not included with Pro Tools software upgrades. DigiRack Plug-ins, original Ignition Pack, and Ignition Pack 2 software do not use iLok authorization (only the Ignition Pack 2 Pro includes extra softare that is iLok-authorized). DigiRack plug-ins require no authorization for use in Pro Tools, while the Ignition Pack software includes instructions for authorization on the printed cards for each Ignition Pack 3rd party product.
Some plug-ins keep asking for authorization when I open Pro Tools. How do I authorize them or get rid of these messages?
